Celebrity Serve Night at Boston Pizza Cobourg – Wed May 9

On Wednesday, May 9th 2018, NORAC will “host” its Celebrity Serve Night fundraiser at Boston Pizza, in Cobourg.

This annual event is a really fun night out, not only for our swim team families, but also for our NORAC celebrity servers. Moreover, it’s also a great opportunity to raise money for our club.

We will have six (6) Celebrity Servers assigned to each shift, and the twelve (12) Servers will be selected on a ‘first to apply’ basis. **UPDATE: As of April 11, all SERVERS have been selected.**

Each Server will assist a Boston Pizza employee with some basic tasks, and Servers will not be permitted to handle hot plates, alcoholic beverages or anything with which they are uncomfortable.

Please read the following requirements:
– Servers will need to wear a NORAC team shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes.
– Long hair needs to be tied back.
– The Celebrity Servers will also need to arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift for some brief training.

If you decide to support the club by staying for a meal…. please note this is usually a busy night, and that reservations are strongly recommended. You can make your reservations at
905-372-4222, and be sure to let Boston Pizza know that you’re coming for the NORAC Celebrity Serve night. This will help Boston Pizza get a feel for their staffing needs, and it will help highlight the NORAC fundraising effort.

How the Fundraiser works

NORAC will receive 10% of all restaurants sales if we can achieve a minimum of forty (40) guests served, during our Celebrity Serve Night.

Guests need to write “NORAC” on their receipts and submit them in the box at the host stand (THIS IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER).

NORAC will also continue to receive 10% of sales each and every time we visit Boston Pizza (Cobourg location only) throughout the following year, whenever a “NORAC” tagged receipt is deposited in the box at the host stand.

Let your friends and family know about Celebrity Serve Night AND the year-long fundraiser, so we can keep the restaurant full and continue to raise money for our Club. Please let me know if you have any questions.
